Or you may have purchased a new home and have no idea what is growing in your yard or what to do with it. An on-site consultation can cover a lot of questions and provide the answers you need to move forward either on your own or with the contractor of your choice. 1-2 hour consultations start at $150.
You may be a former customer of J&S that has moved from our service area or you just have a landscape project to tackle but need some guidance on plant selection. All information can be gathered and shared via email, texts, and phone calls. An initial phone conversation detailing your needs is all you need to get started. Emailed pictures and/or video of the area/s is the next step so that an estimate can be established. Remote design and consulting start at $125.
Many homeowners move into a new home with the ‘builder bush’ treatment and just desire a front foundation face-lift. Or there’s the large natural area that has a few trees and A LOT of mulch but no other seasonal interest. Maybe a space in the backyard that beckons for a patio and fire-pit seating area. There’s always that view into the neighbor’s yard that needs obscuring without looking like an imposing green screen. These are the perfect scenarios for a hand-drawn plan. Consultations start at $150 and a quote for a plan will be given at the end of the appointment. Hand-drawn plans start at $150.
Some yards just need a total facelift. Or a homeowner has a newly constructed home with a clean slate and a lot of bare spaces that need landscaping. Even a backyard with a newly installed pool might need a more detailed approach to planning. Computer Assisted Drawings are to scale, in color, and can be printed in any size. This is also a great way to have an overall plan if implementation will be completed over a span of seasons or years. A plot plan is required for a CAD plan. A consultation starting a $250 is the first step and plans start at $650
Erosion issues from nearby sloping areas, rooftop runoff, driveway runoff, or a neighbor’s yard can cause serious problems. Solutions include but are not limited to, grading, dry creek beds, catch basins, underground drainage pipes from downspouts, French drains, and rain gardens. Areas are assessed during an on-site consultation and an estimate will be given for the plan. CAD plans are to scale and will indicate exact foundation placement and property lines. Hand drawings will have foundation walls shown as well as placement of pipes, French drains etc... but they are not to scale. Drainage consultations start at $250, CAD plans start at $250 and hand drawn plans start at $125.
Existing irrigation systems always seems to need some TLC or tweaking. Sometimes they have leaky valves or a zone isn’t working.
